Our '02 Rodeo V6 auto has had an occasional clunk when we start moving after
stopping at a red light, or anywhere else.  Not ever time but maybe 4 out of

Can someone kindly tell me where the OBD-2 diagnostic port is on a

I've been trying to find some aftermarket parts to dress up the Rodeo a
little bit, just want to be able to see MY rodeo in a sea of rodeos.  The
only thing I can find are running boards/nerf bars.  Any one been able to
find anything else?

My 2000 VehiCross had engine failure last year due to this little (hah)
problem.  Luckily I barely hit 30,000 miles and within a week and a
half, I had a new engine under warranty.
I understand that some Trooper's have the same engine.

My 2002 Trooper had the check transmission light come on at ~27,000 mi.  I
live 100 miles from the nearest Isuzu dealer. There seems to be nothing
wrong with the transmission - smooth, no noise.  Could this be a false
fault?  How do you reset the check light?

After replacing head gaskets for the 3rd time(kept overheating) in the

more than just a little gas pedal when the engine is below 2500 rpm, once
you slowly nurse it above 2500-3000 you can give it full gas pedal and
