I have a 92 trooper with a manual trans and my crossover pipe has a small
crack at the flange where it meets the engine down pipe. It is inspection

Odd Engine Behavior/Missing Gas Cap27 Mar 2005 19:50 GMT2
I was driving the other day and suddenly my '95 Rodeo/Passport began running
VERY rough with dark smoke from the exhaust.  I thought maybe I got bad gas
or maybe a bit of diesel was in the gasoline.
When I got out and looked around, I noticed my gas cap was missing.

'89 - Trooper II - 104K - 2.3L V4
Just found out that the master and slave hydraulic cylinders need to be
replaced in my clutch.  In anyone's opinion, is this a backyard weekend job,
or is this something that is best left to the mechanic?

Just a curiosity question for those with Troopers...
On our 2002 Isuzu Trooper, the spare tire cover does not have the "Isuzu
Trooper" lettering that every other one I've seen has.  If I remember
correctly the sheet of paper the dealer had when we bought the Trooper new,

Bad gas milage on 96 Rodeo19 Mar 2005 17:24 GMT2
I just bought a 96 Rodeo with 3.2L V6, and at first glance, it seems to get
about 13 MPG around the city.  Is this in the realm of reason, or should I
suspect something is wrong?  It's got about 68,000 and seems to run ok.  I
haven't checked any of the basics yet, just wanted to ...
Trooper Ski Rack for sale18 Mar 2005 22:44 GMT1
Anybody interested in a ski rack for an Isuzu Trooper?  We bought out 2002
Trooper new in April of 2003, and it came with the roof-mounted ski rack.
It looked pretty cool, but made some noise in the wind and figured I'd never
use it, so it got taken off a few months after we bought ...

things missing when I purchased it. The cargo cover was missing, my
I need help with some issues on my 2000 Honda (read Isuzu) Passport.17 Mar 2005 04:13 GMT2
1) The two rear passenger doors are VERY stiff to open. - It's almost like
they are glued to the rubber door sill. The sills are crumpled over at the
top rear corner of each door. Could this be a cause?
2) Proper lubricant - Also, what is the proper lubricant for the thin metal
94 Rodeo, Can't open the door!17 Mar 2005 02:22 GMT5
Rear left door won't open from inside or out. I think the door needs to be
open to get the panel off.
Suggestions appreciated!

like a valve sticking problem a ticking noise. Any ideas? Heard something
about putting tranny fluid in instead of oil and running that for an hour to
unstick the seals.
