My XK40 is a great car, until the lights go out on the motorway. Those square headlights fail to do the business. When you're all by yourself it's like driving into the void of Genesis. No fun at 110! Is there any way of adding some more lumens  without causing the computer to go ...

The owner of a shop I worked for had a fellow shop owner buy him an XKE
from the LA area.   Got sold a bill of goods  "piece of sh.t" ...Car ran
but it had at one time been in a foot of water, needed new bonnet
swivels, much rot and rust and so much else.....If only he had seen it

locks.  I want to install remote door locks and have found several companies
that make a kit.  No installation instructions for this car, however.  Any

I am told that there is a replacement and much better instrument panel
available for my 1990 XJ-S 3.6 which does not have those horrible
tumbler gauges.
Does anybody know who supplies such an item in UK?

Has anyone heard anything about the XK8s replacement? Surely they won't keep

How does this work? When I press the switch to increases lumbar support I
can hear the motor but  can't feel any thing in the seat.When I decreases
the lumbar switch it seems nothing is working (no motor noise) Is this the
way it works or is something wrong ? It's like this on both ...
