Fuel tank removal question30 Mar 2004 03:20 GMT1
I need to replace my intank fuel pump (it has voltage but it won't
make a peep.)
The Haynes repair manual specifies removing the propeller shaft in
order to gain access to the fuel lines from underneath the vehicle.

What is status of Jaguar Heritage Trust?29 Mar 2004 05:14 GMT1
On this NG I read occasional references to "Jaguar Heritage" when discussing
parts, manuals, etc. Jaguar Heritage Trust was  established in the mid-late
'90's to ensure the history and "dna" of the marque would not be lost. As
Jaguar became more & more a "Ford" brand and as the ...

WARNING: DieInterim flaps his lips, er keys, on "Superchargers vs. Turbochargers"28 Mar 2004 10:49 GMT1
I have been reading many posts about "Supercharging" or
"Turbocharging" and I would like to puke out some information
regarding this topic.

X300 - why so cheap?  27 Mar 2004 23:24 GMT17
Just saw a beautiful 1995 3.2L X300  XJ-R that a guy bought for around $26K
( little Aussie dollars, of course).  X300's  are advertised as $100K plus
for XJ8's and XJ6's are around $26K to $29K for the same year.  Sure the 3.2
might have considerably less power than the 4.0 (what, ...
Blower not working XJ6 9327 Mar 2004 18:41 GMT1
My 93 xj6 blower will not work.  I have power at the Blower fuse motor but
no power at the back of the main fuse box.  I have followed the blower motor
wire from the blower motor to the main fuse box.  The blower works if I
supply supplemental power but quickly shorts my power ...

Power Steering Fluid23 Mar 2004 02:10 GMT2
The fellow I got my 88 from said the power steering used the same green
oil that the hydraulic ride system uses, and thats what hes used for a
few years. I did top up with it about a month ago. Now that he has found
the manual and given it to me, I see that it says the power ...

X-TYPE 2.0 or 2.5 Advice22 Mar 2004 18:55 GMT6
Having decided to join the Jaguar scene, starting with an X-Type, I am now
pondering on a 2.0 Sport or 2.5 Sport.  Any advice over which to purchase
would be appreciated.  Is there much difference in performance, fuel
consumption etc?

'01 S-Type with under 19,000 miles needs new front brake pads & rotors!?19 Mar 2004 14:27 GMT5
I was told by my service advisor today (after performing a $170 Cdn oil
change)that my 2001 V6 S-Type with about 30,000km or under 19,000 miles need
new
front brake pads soon.  He told me that I only have 15% of the pads left.
