XJ-S 3.6 Tyre pressures..09 Mar 2004 03:56 GMT4
Ello again!

charts on the walls of tyre places, can anyone tell me what the correct tyre
pressures are?
Mark X will not start..09 Mar 2004 03:56 GMT4
I just pulled one of our many, rotting, old jaguars out of storage to try
and save the beast before it's too late.
Good news -- threw in a battery and the motor cranked without a problem.
This is a Mark X (i *think* it's a '66) with a 4.2 and three SU carbs on it
XJ6 Rain Leak on Carpets08 Mar 2004 12:51 GMT3
My '94 has a leak on the driver's carpet.  I have cleaned the duckbill and
poked every drain tube I could find.   I couldn't get any water to flow thu
the drain tubes inside the door jambs at the hinges.  The short tube on the
side of the xmission hump stay dry on the outside.
Victoria on the move08 Mar 2004 03:55 GMT1

fuel pump location04 Mar 2004 18:04 GMT3
My brother's 1990 Sovereign won't start.  It was starting sometimes a
few days ago, and I put some alcohol in the tank to get rid of any
possible ice in the tank/lines.
I was scrounging around the trunk looking for the fuel pump and did

XJ6 Starting Problem03 Mar 2004 04:40 GMT7
1992 XJ6, 76K original miles.
This occurs every time I try to start it; the engine will crank for as

try again it starts right up. Never starts on the first try, always on

Exposing my ignorance here but...my  Mk2 has started to ping rather badly.
I've just recently replaced the frying pan air filter with some sports
filters.  The appearance of the pinging and the air fliter change might have
