1971 XJ6 with 55000 miles30 Apr 2004 23:17 GMT1
The car is in Connecticut.  I have had to travel extensively
for the last seven years and was not able to run it as much as I used
to.  As a result, my last attempt to start it has me conviced that the
carb floats are gummed up.

Want Advice on Towing XJ623 Apr 2004 03:21 GMT2
I bought a new motorhome and I want to tow my '94 XJ6 behind it.
I'd like to hear some advice on what methods will work.  Four down with
disconnected driveshaft?  Flatbed trailer?   Dolly trailer?  Aftermarket
rear pump on tranny?

Wiring Diagram - post 88 XJS speedometer22 Apr 2004 21:36 GMT3
As some of you will have seen from my earlier post, I am trying to work out
how to drive the speedometer of my 85 XJS using a differential mounted
transducer from a late 3.6 XJS.  From the lack of replies, I assume no-one
knows how I should proceed, which is fine, but I need to see ...

I have a 1988 jaguar xj6 and the oil pressure gauge starts out midway

Up and Down Oil Pressure on 88 jaguar xj619 Apr 2004 17:01 GMT1
I have a 1988 jaguar xj6 with about 164k on it.  The oil temperature
gauge goes up to normal range when you first start up the car, then
when you start driving and stop the oil temperature goes all the way
down, then back up when you start driving again.

Cheap tyres for XJ Sport in UK?18 Apr 2004 22:34 GMT1
Had my '97 XJ Sport for a few months now (first real Jag experience -
previous car was a company "X" Type) and loving it.
Unfortunately, I don't think it will be long before it needs some new
boots.  225/55 16s.  Some of the prices I've seen scare me!
