Alarm problem on XJ612 Jun 2004 07:02 GMT2
I have a XJ6 1996 with alarm problems.
It started when I tryed to unlock the car with the remote controll, nothing
happend.
I opened the car with the key ( alarm dosent go on ).

Can anyone tell me if the 3.6L and 4.0L aj6 cylinder heads are
interchangeable?

I have a 89 XJ40, it's been of the road for 6 months now and is getting me
down . Now, it has been at 2 garages one a Jaguars specialist and they both
could not get my jaguar to fire up.
Now it's down to me . I gone through the whole fuel injection system and the

It is a nuisance that the Jaguar navigation system in my S-type (2000) can
not be instructed while driving. Often the frontpassenger can do it without
any safety risk.
Would anybody know how to remove the limitation such that it can be used

A friend of mine has a Series III XJ6 and the other day it dumped about a
litre of transmission fluid on his drive way.  He topped it up again and
hasn't had a problem since.
For some reason, he had unintentionally reved the motor pretty hard while in
