You have just taken delivery of a 1979 Series II XJ6L. The paint job is poor and the interior needs to be re-done as well. It is currently painted red (with a large orange based tint) and has a beige/biscuit interior. A.) Do you keep it Red with a biscuit interior?

Thanks for the input on the horn--even though it beeps whenever I turn the wheel, I like to treat the noise as a new feature--announcing my intentions to the world, i.e. "look out--here I come". Anyway, I suspect a disassemble of the steering wheel will reveal the gremlin involved.

I just bought a leaper from Ebay, its spring loaded at the base it will be going on a Uk spec 3l S - Type. Question is are they Legal in the UK to put on cars and will the M.O.T be affected ........... I remember a few years back that they were banned in

I have an old 3 speed BW DG auto box in my MK2. Itis starting to leak quite badly. I have heard that a 4 speed conversion transforms the performance of the car and improves economy. Any body have experience of this conversion and what box to use.

Hi all, sure you get this all the time, but was hoping for a little buying advice. I'm thinking about getting an XJS V12 (5.3 HE version). It would be my only car and thus a daily driver. I don't cover that many miles, about 10 miles
