hi my 1989 v12 with 87000 miles on it today has just stared to over heat
only in slow moving traffic,motoway ok but over heats quickly intown,any
ideas thanks

Our 88 XJ 40 VDP has developed a loud buzzing noise, kinda like a
bearing or a power steering pump thats out of fluid. Its worst upon
start-up, and makes an "out of round" (like a warped rotor) rubbing

I need to find a towbar suitable to attach to my Jaguar XKR Coupe -
Year 2000. I want to use this to attach a towbar mounted bike rack.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Which towbar? Available from where?

The computer in our XJ40 has a little quirk.  All of the buttons work
every time with the exception of the Instantaneous Fuel Consumption
button which sometimes works and sometimes doesn't.  Am I doing
something wrong or is there a cure?

We have an 2003 S-Type and we were rear ended on Wendsday.  I have pics if
interested.
Anyway, we were not hit very  hard and we were told by the body shop that
they are going to replace the trunk ( rear boot cover) trunk latck, badging

Anyone out there got a pair of XJS sills for sale at a reasonable price ?

whistle.  Drives like a dream and in (almost) showroom condition.

The clock in the center of my dash is impossible to read yet a new one is
over $200.00.  Anybody have an older clock that still works cheaper than
this?  I do not have the electric seat option--just the locking button and
hazard lights on the strip.

I was told by my local Jag shop to only use the "genuine" spark plug
(Champion); and then to only use the ones manufactured in the UK,
which they, coincidentally, had in stock.
This sounds a bit fishy to me.

my stepdad was sparying off my engine bay, when he went to close the hood he
did it softly and only the drivers side locked.  the passenger side of the
hood did not lock and had to be forced down.  before it was forced down i
tried pulling the release lever but it would not budge.  ...
