1990 Sovereign (XJ6) heater fans stopped working20 Nov 2004 23:11 GMT2
Some time ago my heater fans stopped working.  They do not come on at
all on manual or auto.
I can hear some faint electrical noise like they are trying to start
several times, then nothing.

I need to order a power steering hose for my '91 XJ-6 Jag and the part
number in the catalog refers to a chassis number.  I have the VIN and other

I look for it?  Thanks.....

I have a Pacific Blue 2002 XJ8 Sprot and want to change the grill to the
mesh "XJR" grill.
My local dealer has been less than helpful and I wondered if anybody could
suggest a source for this?

88 jaguar xj6 for sale, ONLY 70,000 MILES!!!11 Nov 2004 00:03 GMT2
I recently inherited a 1988 xj6 from my grandmother, the original owner.
She can no longer drive so she donated it to me. The car has been garage
kept from jan 1988 up until now. (Since I took possesion it is now kept
outside) The car is in absolutely pristine condition. It just ...
Hydraulics10 Nov 2004 21:16 GMT4
I have a '91' XJ6 which just had a hydraulic line break.  It's a hose that
runs underneath the engine between the front tires.  My question is, since
my Haynes book has no information about hydraulics other than how to check
the level, can I drive the car or do I need to tow it or ...
Handbrake10 Nov 2004 10:20 GMT5
Did the Mark 2 handbreak ever work and, if so, what is the secret for
getting them to work again?  I've dimantled, cleaned, lubricated and fitted
new pads to mine.  I've even shortened the operating cables.  It works, sort
of,  about 4 times then is useless.  On the flat I can push ...
Non Starter09 Nov 2004 17:04 GMT6
I'm hoping this is the place where a person like me can get a clue.
The car is 1988 XJS V12 HE Sport (Fixed Head) (UK).
It hasn't been driven for a couple of years due to being put in the garage
waiting for the restoration. That time has come.
Tail light fuse.08 Nov 2004 09:58 GMT2
Ok.  I give up.  Looked in Haynes manual, and Jaguar owners manual.  Removed
and inspected and cleaned all the fuses I could find.  Even jumped the
connections in the headlight fuse box, but I cannot get my tailights or rear
side marker lights to have juice.  Can anyone please ...
86 xj6  charcoal cannister hookups07 Nov 2004 21:18 GMT2
I am working some suspected vacuum problems, but my xj6 came without the
charcoal cannister hooked up. They had a screw in the vacuum line and
all the vent lines unhooked.  I have since checked my JAG manual which
has a diagram which is not very precise on the hookups under the
I'm in love with the XJ22006 Nov 2004 08:50 GMT2
I just had to get that off my chest.
[UK] Buying an X Type?05 Nov 2004 20:43 GMT5
I am considering buying a Jag X Type about 2 years old.  I have always
wanted a Jag.
Can anybody give me the pro's and con's regarding doing so.  I see they are
available in Auto Trader for around 7k-9k and would consider this a bargain.
