After putting about 60K miles on my 88 xj40 (now at 140K) I thought I should
do a post for those who might encounter similar problems. The jag-lovers.com
website was a godsend for me when it came to dealing with this car.

I recently (yesterday) replaced the instrument cluster on my '89 XJ6.
All went well and everything is working properly, but the odometer is at
zero.  Any advice on getting the correct milage?

Any advice on this operation. I don't want to be doing it twice if I can
avoid it.
It's a BW65 Unit. I've ordered the seal just wondering on the best method of

Whats needed for me to buy another jaguar.27 Jan 2005 19:50 GMT16
Ok.
I love my old XJ40, and many people do not, so be it. I have polished,
tweaked and squeezed extra power from a basic, stock engine, and I

Battery21 Jan 2005 07:09 GMT11
The battery in my 96 XJ6 VDP has cranked its last turn.  Local Dallas
Jag place wants $180 for a battery with the leaper on it, and sells an
Interstate for 140.  Interstate stores have the battery for 110 and
finally Sears has one for 95.  Any recommendations?
