XJ40 ('93) TYRES28 Apr 2005 20:05 GMT1
Hi, I have a XJ40 with 15" wheels (alloy & steel sets).

Question for the group S type VS X type28 Apr 2005 03:03 GMT12
I was wondering if it was my imagination or does it seem like there are more
problems with the X-type verses the S-type.  I don't see too many posts
regarding the S-type , and a lot of posts regarding the X-type.
I was just wondering.

can hear the engine grind down for a second then return to a
S-type window regulator problem26 Apr 2005 02:10 GMT6
In April of this year, my 2000 s-type driver-side window slid down into the
door frame while I was driving the car.  There was 1 week left in the
warranty, so I felt really lucky.  When I called and told my dealer what
happened, they said, without any hesitation, that is was a ...
2000 S-Type hesitant acceleration and smell25 Apr 2005 22:42 GMT4
I've always driven manual transmission vehicles and so have little
experience or knowledge of those with an automatic box.
Having just bought an S-Type with automatic transmission, I have been a
little disappointed in its acceleration which I would describe as sluggish

Jaguar USA rejoice, that phony, bag-of-wind, incompetent HR thug Warren J
Luther has quit Ford and gone back to New Jersey, a total failure. Too bad
he screwed all the good people that he did. Hope he's selling pencils in
Bayonne this time next year!

Anyone care to estimate how many examples of the aforementioned model

restorable?
