Just had a failure of an auto box on a 1999 Stype with 115000 miles on the
clock, dealer replacement cost £3200, anyone know of cheaper fix, could have
bought a mini with the cash i have spent on this piece of junk.

I am at the moment fighting a battle with Jaguar cars to get my 18 month old
S-type fixed.
My main complaints are,
Faulty transmission which I've let them have two attempts at fixing before

As a S-type Jag owner is there a site where information on removal of panels, accessories or lights exist?  As a do-it-yourselfer I would like to be able to have the know-how to fix things on my own.

I have a 2003 X-type and the remote was destroyedin the washing
machine(but it's nice and clean). The dealer wants $300 to replace and
reprogram. I know they are available on ebay but can it be programmed
at home, and if so how?

Blake, finally finished my rear axle and got it back on the car.

I have a bad case of piston slap. Could my bore be too worn? The piston
barely touches the sides!!!

Hello Jaguars
I seem to have encountered a problem. My leaper is stuck up my
fanny. It fell into me whilst i was cleaning the windscreen.
Please help. The tail is like a barb! it hurts. I was fortunate enough to
