I disconnected the battery on my 89 XJS and now the radio won't play with out entering the pin number.The manual isn't clear on how to enter the pin number. Are there any other buttons to push? Help i'm soundless

On my 84 XJS, the circuit that includes the instrument panel and reverse lights keeps blowing it's fuse, although I can't seem to ever catch the exact moment it happens.... ie, I put a new fuse in and it may last a half hour or a few days before I notice that the instruments have ...

As my father's unofficial motoring advisor, I'm suggesting he might like the X-Type. Probably a '2.0' Classic or the diesel at a pinch. He doesn't want to spend too much, but feels he deserves a bit of luxury in his retirement. What he's trying to get back is the pleasure he got ...

The front bumper chrome (all sections) on my 1992 4.0 XJS ("facelift") is rusty and needs replacement. Are other (earlier) models' bumpers compatible with mine or does the donor car have to be the same vintage?

I am troubleshooting a brake light issue in where none of brake lights work. All other lights do in front and back with the exception of a rear side running light. I have ohmed the brake switch and it appears fine, but I do not see 12 volts

Does anybody happen to know which handset was provided with the factory integrated phone option. There is a cradle in the centre console with a plug and it looks like a handset just clips into place, but which handset?

Get this - I work bloody hard for long hours, dont drink or smoke, never goto the pub yet my wife moans at me for spending time in the garage trying to restore my XJS - Doubtless should I ever finish she will enjoy driving said XJS.

just looking for a irs system for a kitcar , It needs to be strong . I was wondering if anyone would know how much power a jag irs system would take before failing. Also which components tend to be the ones that fail.

Be very wary of bidding for items from: "Jagpro Jagmaster Australia" using "jaguartj" as an E-bay seller. This person has very limited knowledge on Jaguar parts. He sold me an XJ6 engine mount, claiming it was for a 420G.
