I just got my jag back (1986 XJ6) and have had it about a week, it was layed up for about 6 weeks . Now she doesn’t seem to want to run well, she has no power and almost stalls at traffic lights. Other times she will run well.

I think I have got a leak on the timing chain cover - it's not bad but there's a noticable large oil patch which has formed over the last month on the driveway. Is this a massive job?

Hi everyone, I've never posted to the group because, well, I've never owned a Jag until now! I just bought a 1997 XJR and decided yesterday to change the oil myself, that is until I tried to remove the oil filter.

Got this part from a boot sale. Looks like a bonnet badge. 65mm diameter, 12mm thick. Glass disk with chromed metal surround. Glass disk has a silver coloured jaguar (animal) in the centre. Item has a 'leg' of about 15mm. Small hole in bottom of leg
