I need to replace the heater and air conditioning control unit in my 94 XJ6.
I have the part in hand, and in looking at my Haynes Automotive Repair
Manual, it tells me to first "see chapter 11 for removal of the console
heater control/radio assembly trim bezel".

Can anyone recommend a child (forward facing, not infant) car seat that will
fit in the rear seats of an 95 XJS convertible?  I called the local dealer,
but they had no suggestions.  .

paper and the truck sold first. Now the 94 VDP is my daily driver.

heater motor does not work on low, med or high, only works when on defrost.

Having quite a problem with a thud type intermittant rattle from the front
driver's side.  I've heard it, a service manager at a local ford dealer has
but the jag service said that they did not hear anything other than usual
noise.  Anyone had this problem?

I am almost ready to bring my 87 XJ to a mechanic to replace
pivot bearings (there is noticable play in both rear wheels
and I can see the pivot shafts are loose).
He says this is about a 7 hour job, but could end up costing
