Looking to buy an S-Type in the UK.
Anyone got any advice on whether I should be looking at Manual or Auto
transmission ?
Am used to Manual but never driven a "big" car like an S-Type before.

Greetings: I have been in the market for awhile and have noticed that
the 01 VDP and the 03 XJ8 are similarly priced for low-mileage (<
30,000) models. Both come in in the high $20's. The question is
whether the additional room/luxury of the VDP is worth buying a car two

I have a 1991 5.3 Litre V12 XJS, and just lately it has started to 'cut out'
if it left ticking over in a traffic jam or if driven hard. Its as though
it over heats and just dies. After 5 minutes or so it starts again ok and

It's come down to the car or the truck, and I have a boat to
tow.........1994 VDP, 129,000 miles.Kingfisher Blue. New headliner, door
