How do you replace the rubber gasket around the windshield.  I have
been to 2 different auto glass places today and got a flat out no, they
will not even attempt to do this.  There is nothing wrong with the
glass its self, but the gasket is dry rotting.  I purchased the car in

Hey . . . I came across this great site for auto parts and accessories.  The prices are low,
which grabbed my attention.  The site is located at:  www.carparts-accessories.com

I have a few more questions quick!
1.  Just how reliable are these cars, say if kept relatively well.  I've
heard that they're either really bad, or not the nightmares most people

What Year Is It?15 Jul 2006 03:21 GMT2
I just purchased an S-Type. It was sold as a 2003. It is registered and insured as a 2003; no problem with DMV or Insurance Company. But I have discovered the production date in the drivers door jamb states 03/02. What gives? Will be asking the dealer the same question!

Again like most XZJ40 owners I searched the newsgroups and avidly read up on
the issue on www.jag-lovers.org only to find a heap of info, some good and
Tyre choice - 1999 XJR10 Jul 2006 13:34 GMT2
I need a couple on the front of mine.   The difference in wear @25k between
the inner (worn) and outer (like new) edges is striking.   Is this typical?
The steering feels fine.
Are P-Zero Assymetrical the de-facto choice? - they feel fine and
