My other non - Jag car runs on synthetic oil and I am thinking of

x type wagon24 Oct 2006 23:48 GMT1
Does anyone have an x type wagon?  I wanted to look at one, and take some
measurements of the back area and the ground clearance, but can't find a new
or used one within 250 miles of me.
Thanks
Wiring harness differences21 Oct 2006 03:00 GMT1
Does anyone know if different wiring harnesses are used in models with
different options?  Specifically, I would like to add some options that
were not included on the base model (I bought it used), but I would
like, such as motorized seats, the CD changer and fold in mirrors.
Check Engine Lite - Which Code Reader17 Oct 2006 18:06 GMT2
Oh well, the dreaded "check engine" light has lit on my 96 VDP with
92000 on the odometer.  Guess I'll need to start investing in tools.
I've heard the code reader from Harbor Freight is okay, any other
recommendations out there?  My wrench turning days are long past, so I
Jaguar X-Type Spongy Brakes16 Oct 2006 18:27 GMT15
I'm in the UK.  I recently bought myself a UK spec 2004/54 Jaguar X-Type 3.0
Sport Premium Estate (5-speed manual) that has done 18,000 miles.  I remain
to be convinced that this was a smart move.
I have concerns with the brakes.
Advice on buying an S Type please15 Oct 2006 19:52 GMT2
I am considering buying an S Type SE in the UK.  A year 2000 car on an X
plate with 37000 miles on the clock.  The Jaguar dealer wants £8995 for it
with a year's warranty.  What do you guys think of the price?  Also do you
have any recommendations for warranty companies.  I heard ...
Finding a Jaguar Mechanic14 Oct 2006 00:22 GMT6
I'm wondeing if anyone here has a resource for finding a Jaguar
Mechanic? The local dealer appears to be the only game in town where I
live - and they are too expensive. There is nothing of interest in the
Yellow Pages.
Snow tires for X-type13 Oct 2006 00:46 GMT1
I just bought a used 2002 Jaguar X-type 2.5 automatic (all wheel
drive), and so far love the car! I have a question on appropriate snow
tires to put on it. The car came with 225/45/R17 continental all
weather tires; I live near Lake Tahoe, where we get a lot of snow, and

Starting an XKE after years of sitting06 Oct 2006 14:21 GMT4
We're going to try and get our 64 XKE 3.8 OTS running after sitting for a
number of years. Car hasn't been on the road since about 1999, and it still
ran up until about two years ago. Up until around 2002 it would run fine,
then slowly over the next couple years it would start but ...
