Fuel 39 fault code30 Nov 2006 06:14 GMT1
My 1994 Jaguar XJ6 has the code Fuel 39 that comes on often. I
disconnect the negative battery cable and clear it. It comes on again
in a few days. My repair manual says it is an EGR gas temperature
sensor. Do I need to replace this, or is something else wrong?
Importing a Jaguar XKR29 Nov 2006 19:06 GMT6
I live in the UK where the Jaguar XKR is built but is expensive to buy.
The majority of XKR's are shipped over to America and given that the
current exchange rate is almost 2 dollars to the pound I have been
wondering if it would be possible for me to "import" a UK specified
Just bought a Scouse Waggon.24 Nov 2006 03:40 GMT1
A 3 yr old Xtype  2.0d Classic. ( 27K miles)
Great motor, but it takes about 4 miles before the temp gauge  registers
anything, and even on the motorway the needle moves around in the lower half
of the dial.
Advice on Faded Wood Trim23 Nov 2006 20:12 GMT2
Any advice on how to restore wood trim that has been faded somewhat by UV
rays from the sun and/or how to protect against further fade? My 2001 Jaguar
Vanden Plas has some fading, and some of the trim is great.

Replacement Tires 2001 XJ820 Nov 2006 14:07 GMT9
Any thoughts on what is the best choice of tire  for a 2001 Vanden Plas --
the Pirelli P6000, Michelin Pilot, or something else? Suggestions deeply
appreciated.

Timing Chain Tensioners, 2001 4.0 litre V812 Nov 2006 22:42 GMT3
I have a 2001 Vanden Plas with 55 thousand kilometres (about 33 thousand
miles) on it. The concensus among the Jaguar mechanics I've talked to is
that it is not a question of if the timing chain tensioners have to be
replaced on the 4.0 liter V8 if this year, it is a question of ...
Best Tires for 2003 S-Type R10 Nov 2006 05:49 GMT5
Time to replace with only 15K miles.  Came with Continental ContiSports.
I'd like something that will last longer.  I prefer sport tread design than
highway.  Any suggestions?  Fronts are 245/40ZR-18.  Rears are 275/35ZR-18.
Thanks
low temp light07 Nov 2006 13:24 GMT1
I just bought a 2002 jaquar and the low temp warning light won't go away-it
said in the manual that it only is displayed for 4 seconds.  Should I be
worried and take it in where I bought it to have them look at it?
Problems with lights on Jaguar E-Type 197004 Nov 2006 00:29 GMT5
I'm looking for electrical schemes of the roadster E-Type 4.2 1970.
Crossing lights work, but road lights don't work.
Thanks from France

S Type electrically adjustable steering wheel query03 Nov 2006 18:55 GMT3
Can any one tell me if a 2003 UK S Type  electrically adjustable steering
wheel with memory function should automatically move when the ignition key
is turned?  I it did in the pre-face lift model but doesn't move in this
one.  Many thanks for any comments received.
XJ6 Front Suspension Experts01 Nov 2006 21:25 GMT1
Group,
My friend at work wrecked her pristine 87 XJ6, only 40,000 miles :>(. The
damage didn't look all that bad, but
the insurance company "totaled" it. I convinced her to buy it back. I
New UK Jaguar Sales Site01 Nov 2006 17:45 GMT1
Have just bought a new X-Type Diesel for my wife. Loving the car so far,
bought off a new internet sales site that gives you the discounts and puts
you direct in contact with the dealer:

Caring for Wood Trim/Leather01 Nov 2006 10:29 GMT1
I recently purchased a 2001 Vanden Plas with 54000 kilometres on it, and I
would appreciate some tips on caring for the gorgeous wood trim and leather.
Many Thanks.
