The majority of the time they won't turn of after placing selector in off
position.

I just bought a used 2004 X-Type.  It has memory seats but the owners manual

I have i ser.1 E-type which  get air in the hydraulic system. I cant find
any leeks,  after i bleeding it  i get a normal pedal and its working ok.
But suddenly i loose the pedal and  and the clutch. When i bleed it again
its ok a little time.

I wonder if anyone can help?
I'm thinking about buying a second hand XJS V12 (£4000) from a car dealer
with 69000 miles on clock. Car looks and sounds beautiful, but, due to the
age, no doubt there are various things to look out for?
