Anyone know if it's possible to re-programme the remote for an S type
without the dealers computer.
I've found references to XJ and X type, turning ignition on and off four
times, or flashing lights with open boot etc, but nothing for S type. I

The compressor is leaking at the rear, what is the best way to remove it? It
seems easy to get at on the top of the engine, but I can't see where it's
bolted down at the back. Does the fuel rail have to be removed to get
access? What is that strange bellows type thing on the back ...

I recently bought a 2008 S-type. The car is SUPER quiet but I do hear a
whining sound coming from the rear end at about a quarter throttle. It stops
at heavier acceleration and stops when there's no gas applied. Is this
normal?

Brake lights don't work.
Fuse/bulbs is good but no power getting to the fuse.
No power getting to the brake switch. Current checked both leads

Hi
Is there anywhere on the internet where I can see components used in
the above system.  I inherited this vehicle when my brother bought a
new mercedes, and at some point in the past a mechanic has

My mate has just purchased a jag as above and all but one headlamp bulb (ft
offside) are out although lower fog lights are working at the front. tail
lights are also not working.Brake lights are Ok. I suspect a earthing
fault but knoe=w not where to look. Any ideas gratfully ...
