I am picking up a 2000 S Type tomorrow to replace my knackered XJR. When on the test drive, the car ran very well but at a set of traffic lights the engine management system warning light flashed on and off twice. There were no problems with the car and the warning light

I have a 96 XJ6 that is aided with Hydrogen. The power is coming from the fuse box under the hood (right side) with switches and in-line fuses and is working fine.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to make my 120 start from cold? I rebuilt the carbs and it runs well and start at the touch of the button when warm/hot but cold... I thought I had reconditioned the starting carb properly, but I may not know the 'tricks of the trade".
