I have a 1973 XJ6 with a broken AED unit. This means the car is
difficult to start from cold. My local mechanic insists that the AED is
a disaster guilty of many engine break-downs in the old days. So, to
rectify my problem he did not recommend the installation of a new AED

I just brought a 1992 XJ6 and the radio code does not appear to work.
the battery dies so I got it changed.  The code for the radio was
written on the manual. I tired the code and all I get is a wait
message. I tried to enter the code again and I entered the wrong one
