Brake light problem on JGC01 Aug 2003 00:13 GMT5
The left rear brake light on a friends Grand Cherokee is acting
up.  When the lights are off, it works normally.  But if the parking
or headlights are on, the brake light is not on at all or only very
dimly.

Ok, this may be a dumb question, and I'm sure I will get flamed for
asking it, but still, it's a question that keeps coming to my mind and
I'm not 100% certain on.
I live in a very hot, sunny place.  (Phoenix, AZ.)  Lord only knows

Anyone know definitively what size hex key is required for these?
In the archives I've seen 7mm, 8mm, and 5/16" mentioned for other
years/models.
Don't have any of these sizes, and want to buy the right one.

Buying Cherokee Sport, Advice sought31 Jul 2003 16:00 GMT1
I'm on the market for a Cherokee, and have been reading all the Google posts
for info, but I thought I'd ask a couple other things.
First, I'm looking to downsize from my Durango, so if anyone wants one, drop
me a line. I found a '96 Sport with 98k miles on it, 4.0, AT, PW, PL, 4x4,
what is wrong with my TJ? (<210 degrees, always)31 Jul 2003 14:01 GMT1
This is a joke post...
I keep hearing about people having overheating problems, particularly with
AC on, etc.  My Tj (4.0L, 5-spd, 75K miles) comes up to temp, which is a
little under 210 on the factory guage, and then it stays there like it was
Jeep 4WD options31 Jul 2003 09:13 GMT7
What is everyones opinion of the various 4WD systems Jeep offers? I'm
going to be upgrading from my 96 Laredo 2WD to a Laredo 4WD but I'm
trying to decide which 4WD option to get: Select Trac, Quadra-Trac I
or Quadra-Trac II. Right now I'm leaning toward the Quadra-Trac II. Is
Kilby Enterprises = Poor Customer Service31 Jul 2003 08:09 GMT6
Here is my situation, I ordered a large amount of accessories from
Kilby Enterprises ( OnboardAir.com )for my Jeep On Board Air project.
For the most part I was satisfied with what I got.  The issue was that
2 of the parts I had ordered were unusable, one very apparently a

Back... But now with Grand Cherokee Questions...31 Jul 2003 03:45 GMT1
HA... It took months, but I'm finnaly back in the drivers seat of a Jeep.
It might not have a soft top, but with air and leather who needs it :)
Now I have to find out about modifying my 96 Grand Limited.
So far the plans are....

Jeep Mechanic in Maryland?30 Jul 2003 19:04 GMT4
I'm looking for recommendations for a good Jeep Mechanic in Maryland
(preferably not too far from Columbia).  My transfer case is toast,
and dealership prices are no longer an option on my '91 Wrangler.
Thanks,
Yes, another post requesting info on tires30 Jul 2003 16:58 GMT18
Just curious what the best all around tire would be for on-road and a little
off road activity.  I want traction in mud and ice, but I want a solid road
tire for highway travel as well.  My factory tires lasted 15k miles and are
ready for replacement.
