'96 GC Hydralic Control Unit questions16 Jul 2003 12:07 GMT1
My '96 Grand was involved in a traffic accident several weeks ago. My
car struck another car from behind at about 15 mph. The front bumper,
the metal cross piece behind the bumper and the charcoal canister had to
be replaced and the front end alignment was seriously out of whack. ...
can you paint the fender flares?16 Jul 2003 05:05 GMT12
is it possible to paint the fender flares?  i'd rather have true black
flares than the UV beaten gray that mine have become...  is it possible to
get some spray paint and just paint them black again?  if so is there a
specific kind of paint that would work?

The other day I was leaving my sisters house and as I  sped up (35 mph

feeling until I let off the gas and it would go away. I repeated this
on the way back to my sisters house. I would put it in 2nd and just as
Wrangler question: Shifting into 4WD Low with an automatic transmission16 Jul 2003 03:27 GMT3
I've got a 2000 Wrangler, 4WD and an automatic. Shifting into 4Hi is easy
enough. But getting it into 4Lo is a pain. Doesn't seem to want to go in if
I'm stopped. And the owners manual says I should be 'coasting slowly' when
shifting to 4Lo... but how do you 'coast' in an automatic? ...

How low is low PSI,  I drop mine to 20psi (31 10.5 on 8" wheel), but how low
can you go before you have trouble with ruber coming off wheel?
Does the tire and wheel size matter when you answer this question?

pilot bearing question15 Jul 2003 19:39 GMT17
My friend purchased a refurbished long block for his 85 CJ7 and when we were
installing everything back together it looks as though they used an 87 block
because it looks like it takes a pilot bearing istead of the bushing.  Off
to Chrysler I went and purchased the bearing (which ...

Hi All, has anyone heard of a synch. problem with the NV3550?  I thought I

Is anyone here is looking for an old Willys Jeep for parts or to restore?
My brother-in-law has a 1953 CJ3B at his dad's farm lot in Cobourg, but
they're selling that farm, so the Jeep has to go.
It was used up until two years ago as a snow plow, so there's only 1800

Jeep TJ Rear Identification14 Jul 2003 23:29 GMT7
I have done some searches, but haven't found any way to identify the rear
differential on my 1998 Jeep TJ.  I am assuming it is a 30 front, 35 rear,
