| Help! Get this stinkin' track bar off! | 14 Jul 2003 23:24 GMT | 2 |
I was taking off the track bar on my wife's 00 XJ and ran into a snag. I can't loosen the bolt on the upper end (by the body). I pushed, pulled, tug, beat, cussed, yelled, and it wouldn't move. I sprayed it with PB Blaster, let it sit, and repeated. I soaked it again and let it ...

| 99 Wrangler Exhaust Manifold Dead | 14 Jul 2003 22:55 GMT | 14 |
Have a 99 Wrangler 4.0 38,00k that has started sounding loud as a Cessna Skyhawk. Annoying to the extreme. Thought it was the muffler so took it in, and low and behold, the exhaust manifold has a crack or hole in it somewhere. That is a 1000$ repair. Parts guy at the dealer said it ...

I've been having a minor problem with my jeep since I bought it. It always had a stinky smell to the exhaust like it's running rich. I replaced the O2 sensor but that did not help. Today I looked at the stepper motor on the back of my Carb. The test I did was to choke it out ...

On my 83 CJ7 I6 258, there is an aluminum hose which is running from the bottom of my air filter housing down to what looks like the exhaust manifold (can't see clearly yet). Does anyone know what this is for? Function? Also, what is it called?

| 89' jeep overheating | 14 Jul 2003 05:06 GMT | 2 |
I bought this 89' Jeep 6 months ago. The papers in the glove box show the 6 cyl engine was rebuilt 3 years ago. Everything looks new. Radiator, water pump, a/c compressor, head, you name it, it's new. There is no radiator cap, just a plastic bottle up by the fire wall.
