Help!  Get this stinkin' track bar off!14 Jul 2003 23:24 GMT2
I was taking off the track bar on my wife's 00 XJ and ran into a snag.  I
can't loosen the bolt on the upper end (by the body).  I pushed, pulled,
tug, beat, cussed, yelled, and it wouldn't move.  I sprayed it with PB
Blaster, let it sit, and repeated.  I soaked it again and let it ...
99 Wrangler Exhaust Manifold Dead14 Jul 2003 22:55 GMT14
Have a 99 Wrangler 4.0 38,00k  that has started sounding loud as a Cessna
Skyhawk. Annoying to the extreme. Thought it was the muffler so took it in,
and low and behold, the exhaust manifold has a crack or hole in it
somewhere. That is a 1000$ repair. Parts guy at the dealer said it ...
Stepper Motor Bad?14 Jul 2003 22:30 GMT1
I've been having a minor problem with my jeep since I bought it.  It
always had a stinky smell to the exhaust like it's running rich.  I replaced
the O2 sensor but that did not help.  Today I looked at the stepper motor on
the back of my Carb.  The test I did was to choke it out ...
Now that the Cherokee is discontinued14 Jul 2003 21:40 GMT5
Will I have problems getting it serviced?  I have a '97 XJ 4x4
Will parts be hard to get?
I like it and would like to keep it for another 4 or 5 years but want to
make sure it can be serviced?
Warn vs. Mile Marker14 Jul 2003 19:45 GMT9
I am in the market for a winch and am wondering about the quality of the
Mile Marker electric winches.  I know that Warn is a decent brand but 4
wheel parts is running a special on the Mile Marker and it is a really
attractive price.  If anyone has any experience with these, please ...
What is this part?14 Jul 2003 19:37 GMT4
On my 83 CJ7 I6 258, there is an aluminum hose which is running from the
bottom of my air filter housing down to what looks like the exhaust manifold
(can't see clearly yet).
Does anyone know what this is for?  Function?  Also, what is it called?

89' jeep overheating14 Jul 2003 05:06 GMT2
I bought this 89' Jeep 6 months ago. The papers in the glove box show
the 6 cyl engine was rebuilt 3 years ago. Everything looks new.
Radiator, water pump, a/c compressor, head, you name it, it's new.
There is no radiator cap, just a plastic bottle up by the fire wall.
last Question- 94 Limited GJC13 Jul 2003 21:44 GMT1
I'm getting the vehicle for more than a decent price.
From what I've been told, which could just be BS, the
engine and transmission have been re-built and it has 300k km
on it (roughly 190k miles) + its a V-8

Question13 Jul 2003 05:04 GMT2
Well I have invested a lot of money into some parts to put in my 1988 Jeep

slip yoke eliminator, a CV drive shaft and a cable actuated front
differential locking mechanism, however I have a problem. On my 1988 ...
