Overasked lift & tire questions10 Jul 2003 15:04 GMT1
I'm looking for opinions, advice and perhaps some reference sites.  I have a
2002 TJ with the standard 225/75r15 Goodyear tires.  From what I understand
they measure somewhat over 28" in diameter.
I'm planning to put on some bigger tires and am leaning toward 31" BFG AT

Where to put tow hooks on a wrangler?10 Jul 2003 14:29 GMT3
Where do you put front tow hooks on a 95 wrangler? Can unscrew top screw
of bumper and bolt fits right in, but that leaves me no where to put in
other bolt, I could drill and tap a second hole, but don't know if this is
advisible or not. Anyone with ideas or pics of where you put ...
OT: Ugly vehicles10 Jul 2003 12:25 GMT3
Just when I thought those Pontiac Aztecs were the ugliest vehicle ever made,
I saw a Honda Element today. Good God, I can't believe anyone would buy one
of those things. Sorry, just had to spew my opinion forth.

Just replaced my belt.  What is the proper tension to adjust it to.
The oem manual says to use a tensioning tool which I don't have.  Any
help would be welcome.

Some diesel in the gas - what to do?10 Jul 2003 04:58 GMT1
Apparently the local station I go to accidentally
dumped some diesel in their unleaded. They
supposedly drained the storage tank but I suspect
they didn't get it all out - because - I purchased
72 CJ-5 charcoal cannister question10 Jul 2003 03:15 GMT3
There is a cannister on my 72 cj5 located next to the fuel
tank on the driver side.  What is this?  Is it a basic charcoal
cannister or is it some type of rollover fuel protection device?
I am in the process of learning everything about my jeep and have

Substitute for 31x9.5R1510 Jul 2003 00:31 GMT2
'been lurking around here for a few months, (just to make sure I

Help! - 2000 Cherokee blower failure09 Jul 2003 22:15 GMT2
My 2000 Cherokee Classic runs great, but the blower for the A/C and
heater has been acting up.  The mode selector knob seems to be
selecting the right system: A/C, vent, heater, defrost; but the blower
no longer blows, no matter what the blower setting is.  I can hear
Jeep Evaporator Coil09 Jul 2003 20:45 GMT1
My A/C quit putting out Cold Air in my 1997 GC.  Seems to physically
work, but just pumps out warm air rather then cold.  My auto shop said
it had a bad Evaporator coil.  Because it would take 6 1/2 hours, it
is going to end up costing me $800 ($455 in labor).  I've read about
shift lock and ignition09 Jul 2003 18:28 GMT2
First, thanks to all who have answered my previous questions on this
Newsgroup.  I never had a Jeep before so my ignorance is only slowly
clearing.
I inherited a 2000 Wrangler and have pretty much gotten used to its quirks.
98 Wrangler question...09 Jul 2003 17:36 GMT1
I have a 98 Wrangler that seems to have a bit of an electrical
gremlin.  I have had all of the instrumentation (Speedo, tach etc.) suddenly
go dead, only to start back up again when restarted.  This appears to be an
on again, off again thing.  At this point it seems to be ...
