| tire size 30 950 15lt | 09 Jul 2003 16:58 GMT | 3 |
It's time to change tires. I want to get the Michelin's LTX. I currently have P235/75/R15. Talking to a tire dealer he recommended that I get a bigger size and recommended that I get 30 950 15lt. Is that a good recommendation?..I mainly do street driving with less than 5% offroad.

I was clocking my speedometer the other day with my GPS (I have 31" tires and 4.56 gears on my 98 TJ SE) and I found that the speedometer was reading 64mph at an actual speed of 60mph (on the GPS). The SE came with a 40 tooth gear, so I calculated that I need a 42.666 tooth gear. ...
