Hi-Lift Mounting Ideas06 Jul 2003 21:32 GMT1
Hi all.  I asked about interior Hi-Lift Mounting ideas a while back, but
I can't find where I bookmarked the links, so, I was wondering if you
guys could help me out again.  I would appreciate it.  BTW, the Hi-Lift
would be going in a TJ.
81 CJ-7---Tranny Mount Question06 Jul 2003 21:07 GMT1
The deeper and deeper I get into this thing, the more rigged it gets. I hope
it was just out of desperation on the trails!-)
Does anyone have any pics of how the torque stud and stabilizer plate mounts
up to the tranny and the skid plate on an early 80's CJ.  My local parts

Installing dash speakers in a YJ06 Jul 2003 16:44 GMT1
I've seen several posts over the years asking how to install dash
speakers in a YJ. I just did it, and since others may be preparing to
do the same, I decided to post info and pictures about it on my web

Towing06 Jul 2003 16:07 GMT2
What is the consensus on towing with all four paws on the pavement?  I plan
to tow my YJ auto with the transfer case in neutral and the transmission in
park.  I don't foresee a problem, since the NP231 lube pump runs off the
rear output shaft, and the transmission output shaft will ...
Thinking of buying a Grand Wagoneer, any ideas??06 Jul 2003 06:17 GMT7
I spotted a 1988 grand wagoneer for sale not to far from me, and since
I'm planning to replace the car sometime next year, I would consider
replacing it sooner as this sounds like a good deal.

OT - Arnold06 Jul 2003 05:33 GMT2
Oh man........
just saw Arnold Schwarzenneger (sp) on Fox News....He's in Iraq talking to
the troops. He was talking about the lack of money & leadership vacuum in
Iraq & then he said "kinda like it is in California, now"
OT: Crap, I was a passenger in a T-bone hit, on my side.. 06 Jul 2003 03:58 GMT28
Well, I appear to be in some fairly serious trouble here.
It would appear that I got my head bounced pretty bad as  passenger
three weeks ago.
The reason I was a passenger is because I had a cut on my cornea and
ot-f150 surging idle when cold06 Jul 2003 02:04 GMT2
Sorry, don't know off the top of my head the specifics on the engine.  It is
injected; auto tranny.  Anyway, it's my dad's.  The rpm go up and down
pretty significantly when it's cold.  Once it warms up the idle is
absolutely fine.  I figure there's an issue with the automatic choke ...
time to look into Lockers05 Jul 2003 23:08 GMT1
I want a "partial locker" one I can turn on and off.  This is not my daly
driver but I tend to drive it a lot on the pavement, and in the snow, so I
would not lock it before I got a full time locker.
I see my options:

Does anyone know where I can get a 42 tooth speedometer gear for the np231
xfer case.  I have a 98 TJ SE 2.5L and it came with a 40 tooth gear.  I have

tooth gear.  I decided to go conservative and get the ...
