Wrangler & antilock brakes05 Jul 2003 19:11 GMT5
Just got back from a great time at Camp Jeep. As hoped for, it was very
educational, fun, and informative. It rejuvenated my interest in a Wrangler
(we have a Grand Cherokee); as expected <g>.

M.O.R.E. 1" Engine Mounts05 Jul 2003 18:29 GMT9
Installed the M.O.R.E. 1" engine mounts in the YJ today.  No sooner than the
UPS man delivering them was I turning wrenches.  The quality of the mounts
was very impressive.  The difference was night and day when compared to the
stock mounts.  Installation was a breeze.  All I have ...
conclusive answer??  ticking05 Jul 2003 17:14 GMT6
Just wondering why engines 'tick' after shutting off?  I never noticed a lot
of ticking before the rebuild, and notice it more now...perhaps because I am
listening more intently.  Anyway, what is the cause of this phenomenon?

I'm helping my son with a problem he's having with excessive gas

Roof rack?04 Jul 2003 09:28 GMT1
Sorry about all the questions, but I just found this group and think it's
great.  My plain-jane 1993 XJ did not come with a factory roof rack.  I have
spotted a used (OEM) that will fit my jeep (pretty cheap), and am wondering
how hard it would be to install.  Would I need any ...

high idle04 Jul 2003 08:21 GMT5
Could anyone tell me what could cause my 88 cherokee with an inline 6 to run
with an excessivly high idle?  its causing it to run very hot and its
becoming difficult to stop.  I get that burnt brakes smell after driving and
stopping for a while.
Saw a 4 door Wrangler04 Jul 2003 03:38 GMT1
I took a picture of it too, and will e-mail it if anyone wants it.  Anyone know
how to tell who did the conversion?  The only marking on it that was not
factory was a yellow spash on the passenger front door, and the spare tire
cover was a Nantucket Jeep cover.
