99 TJ fuel gauge problem28 Jul 2003 16:05 GMT1
I know TJ fuel gauge accuracy is less than perfect, but I have a
problem with my gauge lately where it works about half of the time and
shows E half of the time. When it fails, usually turning the jeep off
and back on will fix it. It either works OK or not at all. Yesterday

00 TJ - Cross drilled, Slotted, or Vented Rotors28 Jul 2003 03:43 GMT4
I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler 4.0L sport.  I have 32" tires and no lift.  I am
planning on towing a 4x6 or 5x8 uhaul trailer from Las Vegas to Iowa in a
few weeks.  I know I need new rotors and am wondering which ones are the
best to buy.  I have been looking around and have ...

CJ Factory Tach?27 Jul 2003 23:29 GMT7
Hey Everyone,
I thought my '82 Scrambler was turning incredibly high revs on the factory
tach, but a friend gave me something to think about.  Since a V8 was swapped
into it (401 before, i'm putting in a 360) the factory 6 cyl tach is probably
Xj Crank Windows Ruinung Speakers27 Jul 2003 22:01 GMT1

2004 TJ Manual Transmission27 Jul 2003 21:12 GMT6
Do the 2004 TJ's manual transmissions have the same marble rattling noise
that the 2000 TJ's had/have when in  neutral? Or is this the same 5 speed
manual transmission with the same noise.
Thanks,
Buying unpainted....27 Jul 2003 20:58 GMT3
There are a lot of fabed parts out on the market that are shipped unpainted
and am curious how well rattle can type painting works on them. Poison
Spyder has some really nice stuff but none of it comes painted. Another
company is AtoZ Fabrications. I was thinking of maybe using a ...
Early CJ5 Body question27 Jul 2003 20:04 GMT3
My 1964 CJ5 has a 1/2" -5/8" diameter x approx. 6" long sheet metal tube
attached vertically to the outside of each of the rear corners.  These
appear to be original to the jeep.
Does anyone know what the intended use is for these?
Bleeding ABS27 Jul 2003 19:31 GMT7
Any tricks for bleeding ABS?
I installed new callipers, bled and topped up the reservoir. I'm getting a
steady stream from the bleeder but the pedal goes to the floor with the
engine running. I can pump the brakes for a little pressure but it goes to
97 Grand Cherokee27 Jul 2003 19:16 GMT2
Friend is trading in her 97 for a new car.  It has 50K on it and has been
meticulously maintained.  I think I can get it for 6K.  It's got the 4.0 and
an AT.  I have a suspicion these may be a maintenance nightmare.  The
warrantee is running out and maybe she knows this.  Any ...

OT:  Newsgroup Question27 Jul 2003 02:21 GMT10
Apparently the RAMJW newsgroup has a charter.  I'm sure something in it
covers hostility and foul language.  As some have said, families may be
reading this stuff.
Anyway to get someone kicked off for blatant breaking of the rules?  Of
