I was looking at buying an old 1991 Jeep Cherokee v6 4.0l; it's got
196k but was rebuilt 20k ago.
The car runs well, at least for right now.  However, after driving the
car for 10 minutes it starts to smoke from the engine compartment.

I am interested in storing 50 -100 gallons of gasoline as part of my
families 72-hour survival kit.  I usually keep four 5 gallon containers

Am looking to replace my stock CJ7 front seats with 5 point harness
seats.  Would prefer not to spend a small fortune if possible.  The
jeep is also a daily driver in addition to rockcrawling, so comfort is
also a factor.

I tried searching for some price index and couldn't find any.  Could
someone tell me if $2700. is about right to pay for a Cherokee Sport
with 152K miles?

I am looking at getting a winch for my 2002 TJ. I am thinking hard
about a Mile Marker winch. Is my power steering pump good enough for
this application? What is the advantages of hydrolic over electric? If
there is any.  Does anyone have an insite on this subject?

Here's my story:
I bought my J-10 as a fixer-upper project last November off of a
guy who already performed some mods on it. It has the 360 V8.

When will the diesel be available at my local dealer?  I know that D/C says
that it will be a 2005 model, but when will it start to appear at the
dealer...shortly after January 2004?

Is there a coolant drain plug on the block?  If so where is it?

Hi. I recently got a 94 Sahara YJ. The fog light lenses are rusted away
and I can't use the H3 bulbs that I just bought. Does anyone know where
to get stock lenses on the net or should I upgrade to either Hella 500s
or BlackMagics. I wonder if the OEM mounting hardware will work ...

I am seriously considering a full cage for my CJ8 from Essentially Off
Road (www.essentiallyoffroad.com).  They want $400 plus shipping for a
half cab cage which will allow the scrambler half hard top to still
fit on the vehicle.
