fact, I've never sent any e-mail to more than 2 people ever. There are
like 70 posts concerning mine; stop editorializing about this nonsense

first of all, this is the first time I've posted to this group...
I've been reading the threads here for months though, doing a ton of
research on Wranglers before I decided to buy one, which I did just a
couple months ago - got a new 2004 TJ X.  Loaded it up with the

I have an 03 TJ Rubicon, and will put in a 2" Old Man Emu suspension
lift and also run 1.5" engine lift (and body) to fit a high clearance
skidplate.  What driveline problems should I expect, what do I need to
buy in advance to fix the problems, how do I fix it, and will I need
Rough run after oil change31 Dec 2003 14:14 GMT13
I recently purchased a 2000 2.5L Wrangler SE.  I just personally
finished putting 6000 miles on it, and hence, just got my second oil
change.   I used  Mobil 1 10W-30 synthetic oil both times.
I've noticed that both times I changed the oil, it seems that she
96 Cherokee starts but won't run31 Dec 2003 14:13 GMT3
I have a 96 Cherokee Sport that has developed a little problem.  The
engine will start, but will not continue to run when in the "ON"
position.  In fact, nothing works with the key in the "ON" or
"Accessories" positions.  Dome Light and headlights work fine.  For
1994 OBD location?31 Dec 2003 13:26 GMT1
Hey all,
I got a 1994 Cherokee 4.0 and for the life of me cannot find the OBD
connector. I found a 6pin (matbe 8pin) connector attached near the center
console on the drivers side. It's not an OBD II. Does anyone know if Jeep
Fuel Rail Leak31 Dec 2003 13:20 GMT5
A few months ago, I replaced all the o-rings on the fuel injectors.
When I did this, I oiled each o-ring, to get it well seated.
Everything worked fine for a few months. All of the sudden, about 2
weeks ago, I started smelling gas after driving my XJ. After further
part numbers/RHD?31 Dec 2003 11:18 GMT5
I have a RHD 93 Cherokee in the UK. I think it might need a new water pump,
so while this is being done I'm thinking of getting the serpentine belt
changed as well. Can anyone tell me if there's a parts number list anywhere
on the Internet that I could use to check which I need to ...
OT: Looking for an old song31 Dec 2003 06:16 GMT1
Hey guys,
Sorry for this post being completely off-topic, but I've tried
searching everywhere (including Kazaa, et al) for the song "Sing Me
Another Love Song".
oversized tires with spare tire rack and hard top?31 Dec 2003 05:36 GMT16
I just got 31x10.5" tires and I'm having trouble with mounting the
spare on my tj.  I used the 15x8 wheels and I need to either remove
the rubber stops or grind them down so that I can bolt the wheel on.
The second part of my problem is that I read that the hard top's wiper
Moderate, remote, trails in Central Oregon...? 31 Dec 2003 05:24 GMT1
... preferably with a water feature at the end like a creek or lake?
My TJ will be ready to take the family on some adventures this next summer
(re-geared, camping/utility trailer, the right tires, etc) so I am rarin' to
get out of the valley and up into the central oregon desert.  ...
would an exhaust leak cause lean or rich sensor reading?31 Dec 2003 03:44 GMT17
Okay I know my old exhaust manifold is leaking, and is at it's worst
when cold so I'm wondering if a leaking manifold could fool the O2
sensor and cause the Cater stepper motor to go too rich, until the
engine gets a little warm (at which point the manifold has expanded from
Jeep clunking 31 Dec 2003 02:45 GMT6
