manual Choke install20 Jan 2004 16:56 GMT7
When I bought my '79 CJ 7 a while ago the P.O. had installed a manual
choke.  Well it looks like he just attached a cable to the electric
choke.  Is this the correct way to do it?  The problem I have is that IF
i ever get the choke to set the high idle, it never will go back to ...

XJ Lift Kit?20 Jan 2004 16:19 GMT4
I am looking for a "small" lift on my 99 XJ.  I added aftermarket wheels
with larger tires.  I have no clearance problems unless I get some weight in
the rear of the Jeep - 250lbs or so.  Then I get some rubbing on the rear
fender wells.  So I am looking a different options.  I ...

Disconnecting AC clutch on TJ20 Jan 2004 09:43 GMT3
Its been bitter cold here in the northeast lately and the only way I can get
confortable in my '00 Sahara. (I don't wear a coat when I drive) is to run
the heater on bi-level.  The problem is, with bi-level, the AC compressor
runs and I don't want it to.
Another Idle problem, '89 YJ 4.220 Jan 2004 06:22 GMT4
My '89 YJ was never the best at idling. In the past
I've cleaned out the idle tubes, had my carter rebuilt,
and so on.. Now without goosing the gas, it won't idle
at all. It goes right to stall. At hiway speed it runs great.

set up requires weight of the car. I don't have a guess. Any help will
be appreciated.
