What type of glass for CJ2A windshield?15 Jan 2004 23:18 GMT15
It seems like it has regular old plate glass in it right now.  Is this
okay, maybe because the size of each pane is so small that it has
enough strength?  I'm thinking I'll probably just throw a rock at it,
or drop a rock on it, and see how bad it shatters.  Then, if not too

tire width and tire brand/model recommendations15 Jan 2004 17:47 GMT7
Ok, I'm going to try to spark a bit of a debate here, and see what I
get out of you guys in the way of recommendations, or just an all out

know we've had these sort of discussions before, but none of those
97TJ blinkers/part 215 Jan 2004 16:57 GMT11
the hazards work fine and the switch is in the proper spot. I replaced the
blinker fuse and it had no effect. NOW I  have an aftermarket alarm
(Sidewinder) that has a red light on top of the steering column. Since my
trouble running down the battery, that alarm is always loaded and ...

Just curios if anyone can tell me what I should expect to pay for a new

but ballpark is fine.
I plan on totally replacing the cat, muffler, and exhaust pipes.  Running

I have an "88" wrangler with a Dana 35 rear and Dana 30 front. I
currently have 3.55 gears in both diffs. and would like to put 4.56
gears in both.
The literature I can find says that if I have  3.55 or lower gears in
rear seat options and frame repair15 Jan 2004 14:17 GMT4
hey folks,
I'm new to Jeeps. I just got a hold of an 83 CJ 7 that needs a few repairs.
The rear seat is missing. Is there such a thing as a high back seat for the
CJs?
'90 XJ, OME/BB Lift Install Report15 Jan 2004 11:09 GMT1
Subject: 1990 XJ, 2 door, 4.0L, 200k north-east miles (read: rust)
It was getting really saggy in the rear end. It doesn't help that I
usually carry around 75lbs of tools, 150lbs of tube sand, and another
30lbs or so of miscellanious junk like oil and antifreeze and stuff.
97TJ.blinkers quit working15 Jan 2004 04:47 GMT7
emergency flashers work but the blinkers are dead when I hit the turn signal.
Recently ran the battery down unrelated to this. Are the blinkers on a fuse?
Okay, ground plane ant, but where? (On my Rubi)15 Jan 2004 04:35 GMT2
I've seen some brackets on the web similar to the Teraflex ones, but
better and designed to be used on either side.  I've searched and
searched but cannot find them anywhere.  Anyone know what I'm talking
about?  Anyone have a better idea??

Low vacuum rich mixture on 2.8L  86 XJ Cherokee--- solved14 Jan 2004 22:38 GMT6
Found the cause of the paradox of rich mixture and low vacuum on my
2.8L.
