33x9.5 on TJ03 Jan 2004 12:01 GMT4
Does anyone know how much turning radius I would lose putting 33x9.5 BFG ATs
on a stock set of Canyon (15x8) rims (without a wheelspacer) assuming a
proper height adjustment?
In other words, will it end up turning like an aircraft carrier?

Is this a good price for a new Rubicon?03 Jan 2004 05:11 GMT3
New Black 2004 Rubicon w/Dual Top, 5-speed, Air, premium sound, etc. The
dealer has quoted a total price, delivered, of $25,890 (that includes the
current $1,500 rebate).  The window-sticker shows an MSRP of $29,490. This
seems like a good price to me, but was interested in others' ...

1999 Wrangler Clutch02 Jan 2004 16:12 GMT4
I have a 94 Wrangler, 4.0, that is beginning to show some clutch wear.
Everything is still working, but I am gradually getting more & more free
play at the top of the clutch pedal ( and less at the bottom!).
I can't find any pedal adjustment mechanism to bring the pedal up higher -
No Scramber?  Next best thing to buy?02 Jan 2004 07:16 GMT6
So, if I cannot find a Scrambler (which I haven't yet) to have as a
second "play" car to drive around these mountains in Western NC; what
particular Jeep (model, etc.) would you suggest I look at buying;
assuming I want/need to be in a  price range of 5K to7K?  I do want
I have to speak my mind02 Jan 2004 07:14 GMT16
What the hell has happened to this newsgroup?
We have a zillion responses to one SPAM ad that end up in a bunch of
immature name calling and other crap.
We have people calling another person's jeep a "load of sh.t". (No class
4" lift with Shackle Reversal Kit?02 Jan 2004 04:11 GMT3
I'm going to get a 4" lift kit for my CJ7.  While at a local jeep store I
noticed one of their jeeps with a Shackle Reversal Kit (one of the guys
there told me what it was).  My question is what does the shackle reversal
kit do for ride and would it be a good combination with the 4" ...
2004 GC "5-speed" automatic02 Jan 2004 04:06 GMT9
From what I understand, this transmission isn't really a 5-speed. According
to what I've read, it has 2 second gears!! One is used while it's upshifting
and the other is used when it's downshifting? Is this for real? And, if so,
what good is it? I'd much rather have a "real" 5-speed ...
89 YJ turn signal doesn't turn off02 Jan 2004 03:53 GMT2
My 1989 YJ's left turn signal no longer turns off after you make a turn.
Anyone have an idea of what's involved in a repair like this?  The right turn
signal still works fine.
Thanks
YJ Axle Shift Motor02 Jan 2004 01:16 GMT15
I was posting as Jeepers and just realized that someone else posts
here using the same name ( or someone else use to use that name) so
you will notice I changed my nick a bit.
Anyways 2 days ago I had my vehicle in 4WD and today I went to work
Power Washing my TJ02 Jan 2004 00:09 GMT4
If I am rembering right I have heard a number of you that have powerwashed
the inside of your TJs interior.  I went mudding (actually I pulled some
young punks out of the mud) and sprayed the inside of my jeep with mud, now
I get filthy EVERY time I get in to go somewhere.  Let me ...
Roller Fairlead Needed02 Jan 2004 00:05 GMT3
Hey guys, I am looking for a good, used roller fairlead for my Warn
XD9000i winch.  For that matter, I am also looking for a mount that
will fit my 88 YJ.  I've seen the fairleads and mounts at 4WD.com and
Quadratech, but so soon after Xmas and the budget is stretched. Any help
