Hey, I did it.  Got one of those suckers off and put the new one on.
The downside.  My compressor died just as I went to pump it up for the
second time before I could get the spring and keepers back on that valve..
Anyway, I found out a couple of things.

Ok, my 00 XJ (4.0L, Auto, 8.25 rear) is giving me some strange noises, and
they are really too intermittent to pin down.  Thought you guys might have
some ideas.  It only started recently and seems to happen the most frequent
when it is really cold out and it hasn't had much time to ...

Looking for a hardtop for a 2003 Wrangler which top gives you the best bang
for the buck.

I was having trouble with the pulse air emission system
and water was going into my air cleaner. Now, the inside
of the air cleaner top is rusty and small rust particles are
getting into my carb, which causes me to frequently clean

I was told to turn key on,off,on,off then on, and this would begin the
engine lite flashing the codes. But this doesn't work. Do i need a
scan tool?
Also if i may ask another question. The jeep doesn't run right at all

I'm talking to a guy at work about the re-assembly of the rocker arms and
he's telling me that there needs to be a gap between the valve head and the
rocker arm.  I'm not seeing it.  The rocker arm has a little pivit in it

Anyone know what the MSRP will be for these new wheels in 16x8? I

I have my compressor and I placed the piston at just before TDC on the
compression stroke.  I put my air adaptor in the spark plug hole and applied
air and I'm hearing leaking.   I tried another cylinder and I'm hearing
leaking.  The air is only at about 40 psi cuz I haven't gotten ...

I just rebuilt my carb on a '79 CJ with a 360 Motorcraft 2bbl.  When I
went to fire it up it refused to start.  I opened the choke plate and
eventually got it started but it's smokin' up a storm.
Where do I look first in the carb to remedy this?
