Hey, I did it. Got one of those suckers off and put the new one on. The downside. My compressor died just as I went to pump it up for the second time before I could get the spring and keepers back on that valve.. Anyway, I found out a couple of things.

I was told to turn key on,off,on,off then on, and this would begin the engine lite flashing the codes. But this doesn't work. Do i need a scan tool? Also if i may ask another question. The jeep doesn't run right at all

4.2L Engine in a 83 CJ7 I'm talking to a guy at work about the re-assembly of the rocker arms and he's telling me that there needs to be a gap between the valve head and the rocker arm. I'm not seeing it. The rocker arm has a little pivit in it

I have my compressor and I placed the piston at just before TDC on the compression stroke. I put my air adaptor in the spark plug hole and applied air and I'm hearing leaking. I tried another cylinder and I'm hearing leaking. The air is only at about 40 psi cuz I haven't gotten ...

I just rebuilt my carb on a '79 CJ with a 360 Motorcraft 2bbl. When I went to fire it up it refused to start. I opened the choke plate and eventually got it started but it's smokin' up a storm. Where do I look first in the carb to remedy this?
