trac-loc differential25 Jan 2004 01:54 GMT3
I am going to buy a wrangler X model and was wondering if you need the
trac-loc differential. It will mainly be used as a street vehicle.  I
noticed that it is an option.
Thanks.
1992 Jeep Cherokee Windshield Wiper problem25 Jan 2004 01:45 GMT1
I've been having a problem with my wipers that I can't seem to find a
solution for..
The assembly which connects my wiper motor to the bars which move my
wipers keep coming apart. I can pop the socket back in but usually
Grand Wagoneer25 Jan 2004 01:33 GMT2
I've seen an advert for a 360ci Grand Wagnoneer '91 here, but know little
about them other than they have D44s F and R and a TH700 auto. It claims it
has select-trac, so would that make it a chain driven NP229 ?
I wonder if you guys could drop me a few specific hints on the gotchas ...
Reset computer on '02 TJ25 Jan 2004 01:05 GMT1
A couple of days ago, I posted that I had a miss (cyl #5) on my '02 TJ
Sport, 6 cyl, auto trans, for just a few minutes. The miss cleared itself
after just a few minutes, but the check engine light stayed on.
Yesterday, I disconnected the battery for about 3 minutes to clear the ...

lock-trac differential25 Jan 2004 00:34 GMT1
I plan on getting an X model Wrangler and will not be off roading.  Is the
lock-trac differential needed?  It's listed as an option.
Thanks
'02 TJ Error Codes25 Jan 2004 00:01 GMT4
'02 TJ Sport, 6cyl, auto trans, 36000 miles.
I was running errands today. After one of my stops, I started the engine and
it began missing. It was running rough and it felt like it was missing on
one or two cylinders. I drove that way for about 4 minutes, then parked for
Cleaning a Carb.??24 Jan 2004 23:09 GMT3
I need to clean and do a real good rebuild on my Carter 1 bbl carb.  The
venturi's are seeping fuel at idle and the needle and seat need to be
retired.  I know I need to use a guitar or piano wire to push through a jet
or tube.  I just don't know exactly which tube, jet or orifice ...
Re-doing wheels___again!24 Jan 2004 22:56 GMT2
I'm another one___'97 Sport with the wheel upgrade, polished alum.,
clearcoated.  After 5 years on the beach everyday they look like "hell".
Not only is the CC peeling off, the metal is corroding fiercely. (I'm
experienced in the effect of salt air on bare alum.)  I'm told there is ...
TJ side mirrors for doorless operation24 Jan 2004 21:31 GMT17
Any suggestions on aftermarket side mirrors for the TJ when

I'm looking for something that I can use all the time.  So
I don't want to use the mirror relocation brackets.  I'd like
When replace serpentine belt ??  2000 GC24 Jan 2004 21:31 GMT1
My  2000 has 70K miles on it.    Upon inspection, my drive belt (serpentine
belt) appears in good shape, with no visable cracks etc. The manual is a bit
vague about this, but it seems to say replace when wear shows up on
inspection.
Track bar and grade bolt?24 Jan 2004 21:27 GMT17
I have an RE adjustable trackbar and am going to replace the bolt at the
frame end (not axle end). It is a gold grade 8 bolt, I believe. Now, I
understand that grade 5 has a better shear strength than 8, and since
the job of a trackbar is lateral which puts lateral stress on this ...
CO2 Vs. Scuba tank?24 Jan 2004 21:26 GMT26
I already have a 40 ft^2 oxy cyl I can use for compressed air for tire
filling. I've been reading sites about CO2 tanks, they hold 800 Psi, and and
a scuba/air tank hold 2-3000 Psi.
Does anyone know for sure how same-size tanks compare in fill-up counts?
