Cherokee alloys28 Mar 2004 08:58 GMT2
Hi there. This is probably a FAQ, but the alloys on my Cherokee are corroded
somewhat, and let the rest of the vehicle down. Is it possible to treat this
at all, without replacing them of having them shotblasted and repolished?
Thanks.
Unexplained brake problem (Demonic possession!)28 Mar 2004 07:59 GMT15
By now, I've probably drawn our resident experts attention in challenge to
explain this one.  I recently replaced the master cylinder, wheel cylinder &
shoes on my '76 CJ-7 and flushed the entire system with DOT 4 fluid.  (I
plan to take Bill's advice and go back to DOT 3.)  ...

Year 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee -- Front Wheels "walk" on sharp turns  ????28 Mar 2004 05:04 GMT1
I have a 2000 JGC, with  full time  4 X 4     QuadraDrive  (not Quadra-Trac
or other similar types).   It has  75K miles.    Drives and runs fine.
Lately, I have noticed that the front wheels seem to "walk"  or bind during
slow, sharp turns.    This is a different "feel" than normal ...

Hi all,  the cassette player I have mounted vertically in the centre console

a natural suspicion that a lot sales people don't ...
Engine vibration: 90 XJ 4.0L 28 Mar 2004 04:34 GMT6
My 4.0L just developed a vibration. It is most noticeable between 2100
and 2800 RPM. It can be heard in the cab and felt through the stick
shift. It happens when sitting still in neutral and when running in any
gear. It gets significantly stronger when transfer case is in 4WD.

I left an interior light on in my TJ overnight and had to jump start
the engine the next morning.  Once I did, the engine was idling really
rough.  Eventially the check engine light came on and returned an
error code #43.  Plugs and wires are less than two months old.  I took
