I'd love to make the (albeit small) jump up to 31" MTRs without having to alter
important mechanical items from their enjoyable stock positions...  I realize
that 31's will fit without lift but it looks ...

Well I discovered my fan clutch may have gone bad over the weekend.
Coming home from Ocotillo Wells via Julian after a weekend of off-road
fun.
The temp was about 99° and heading up the hills into Julian behind slow
Offset vs. Backspacing23 Mar 2004 13:58 GMT5
Okay sports fans.  I grew up in the 4WD community referring to the term
offset when fitting wheels to my rig.  I hear offset less and less vs. the
term backspacing.  On my 91 Wrangler with a 3.5" lift I have 33X12.50 BFG
ATs fitted on 10" mods.  In order to maintain the turning ...

Hi Group,
I have a '97 XJ with about 92k on it. I took it in to get the brakes done
and they called back saying I can leakage in my rear brake hydraulic hoses
and it would cost about $500 to fix. I live in California. Does this sound
TJ-Oil Pressure Guage23 Mar 2004 04:17 GMT1
The oil pressure guage on my '99 TJ Sport has a habit of jumping all
the way up to 80 lbs as the operating temp warms up, especially in
cold weather. It will act normally at first, then as the temp guage
hits about 120, it will suddenly peg the needle, stay there for about
TJ mufflers23 Mar 2004 04:03 GMT7
My 98 TJ 4.0L  is going to need a muffler later this year. I'm not really
looking for a performance increase or improved sound, but I plan on keeping
the jeep for a long time. On my other cars over the years, I've found that
the Walker mufflers and pipes are lucky to last 2 years if ...
Banks vs. Borla vs. HTC/ceramic coated headers23 Mar 2004 03:17 GMT2
I need a replacement for my cracked exhaust header and i'm considering the

different headers availiable.  I am strongly considering the Banks header,
but recently was rethinking it after seeing the ads that Borla ...

Sorry up front this is a bit long.  I have a '94 Cherokee, 4 liter, with
auto trans.  A while ago I thought my battery needed replacing.  So I
replaced the battery.  Problem solved (at least for a few weeks.  Then it
started doing the same thing again, I would turn the key and ...
offroad lights22 Mar 2004 22:31 GMT1
Hey guys,
Looking at tossing a couple of lights on the front of my jeep ('02 4L).
Was wondering how you guys wire them in!?  Is there room in the fuse box to
put them in?  Or are they usually rated too high?

Bumper opinions22 Mar 2004 19:44 GMT10
I want to replace both front and rear bumpers on my two 97TJ's. Anyone have
the Warn bumpers, they are the most reasonable and have the shackle mounts,
Tomken runs a close second pricewise and BP is way outta my price range...

1999 Grand Cherokee Memory System Problem22 Mar 2004 19:38 GMT2
Has anyone run into a problem where the Memory System buttons on the
drivers side door don't function correctly (99 GC Limited)?  The 3
buttons (1,2, and set) all worked fine until a few months ago, and now
it's like the buttons have switched positions:
