I have a '95 YJ 2.5L wither manual steering. I want to change it to

crack open the engine because I need to change the valve gasket, and while
I'm at it, I'm going to check out my lifters and such.  What is the

Ok, I changed the engine mounts, tranny mount, two bushings were fine.  The
motor mounts and tranny mount looked old, but didn't look broken in any way.
So after changing these I still have shuttering when engaging the clutch to
start moving (Both forward and reverse).  It does it ...

My Jeep has a cracked exhaust manifold and I have ordered a replacement
from 1A auto. I plan on replacing this myself. I'm no mechanic,
but I can turn a wrench. Is this a straight forward enough job that

Hey everyone,
My 2000 XJ has been feeling 'weird' lately when I turn.  It feels like it is
in 4wd.  The shifter is in 2wd position, the indicator is not on, but the
wheel is jerky when I make turns.  I have put it in and taken it out of 4hi

re-engaging the clutch between gears. The u-joints are good.

I have a 35c axle shaft that needs replacing in my 96 GC.  It has the ABS
tone ring.  Two questions:  1) are the lenghts of the axle shafts the same
for all Dana 35c rear ends, such that I could use an axle out of a tj or
whatever so long it was a 35c axle?  2) Can the tone ring on ...
