CJ engine16 Apr 2004 18:46 GMT1
My dad restored a CJ7, I think that it is a '84.  It really looks sharp, all
black with stainless deck plate trim.  The only problem with it is the
engine that is too small.  I think that he told me that it was a 4 cylinder.
Anyway, he mentioned that there was a slight problem with ...
Going to 'Glass16 Apr 2004 17:40 GMT3
Morning all~
I have a 94 YJ that has seen better days. Everything runs great, but now the
rust has started bubbling through, thanks to living in the salt belt. I want
to start converting it over to fiberglass, but there seems to be a few
Online source for Spicer U-Joints??16 Apr 2004 17:38 GMT1
What's a good online source for Spicer u-joints?  All the local
parts stores carry only Precision or some other brand I'm not
familiar with.

Unlimited16 Apr 2004 14:13 GMT2
My little brother just called me to tell me he picked up his new
unlimited today.  He ordered it from jeepwarehouse.com and had it
shipped to a dealer in Tucson, where he lives.  It arrived even before
their demo model did, and they seemed to think he has the first one in
1955 Willys CJ5 4x4 $245016 Apr 2004 14:09 GMT1
Wife's job change (real estate) forces sale. I just started to work on this Jeep to get it to be a daily driver.  The interior is out (although I still have it).  This thing runs and drives with a very strong 350 Chevy engine. To see more of this Jeep, click the link below to see ...
CB installed, but its noisy16 Apr 2004 13:47 GMT2
I have installed the CB in my TJ.  The 120 cm antenna came with 4.5m wire
with prewired connectors and base.  I have put the antenna on the rear
bumper on the left side.  The antenna cable is going under the centre
console to the middle and then under the carpet all the way back to ...
GC 4.0 cracked manifold16 Apr 2004 07:59 GMT12
Well upset. Just spent 500 ukp having exhaust manifold on my '98 GC replaced. It was cracked in
three places. The replacement has flexible connections to the outer two ports. Anyone know the
cause of the damage (apart from sh*te design) and is it worth claiming off Jeep for the ...

I hate my light duty brakes - not much good with 33" tires. I want to upgrade
to disc brakes on the rear and larger dia on the front. Any recommendations?
Jeep is 82 CJ7    TIA!

Mike Romain, Please Help!!!!!16 Apr 2004 00:55 GMT4
Good to see you still in the n/g, I've been gone a while and I could use
some assistance, if you don't mind. Got an 89 YJ, Nutter bypass...had gotten
some information from you in the past as to what emissions components you
had connected, but lost it all in a crash. I would greatly ...

I6 engine vibration16 Apr 2004 00:50 GMT3
I recently replaced the failed harmonic balancer (vibration damper) on
my '90 XJ 4.0L I6 5-speed. The vibration I was suffering lessened, but
it is still very noticeable at around 2000 RPM (any gear, any speed).
Anyone ever have any similar problems after replacing the HB on an ...
O/T - AOL user info16 Apr 2004 00:07 GMT5
Is there any way to gather any information on an AOL user?  No, I'm not
stalking anyone.....  well sort of I guess.  I'm trying to contact someone
who at one time was using an aol address I have.  I have a possible first
name.  I have sent a few emails and they haven't bounced, so I ...
2004 vs 2005 [Rubicon]15 Apr 2004 23:30 GMT23
What will be the difference in these years' models?
Would it be cheaper to buy a 2004 now, than to wait till the new '05 model
came out?
Thanks,

I am trying to help a friend fix his jeep, and I need some help in
diagnosing the problem.  I would appreciate it if someone who has some
knowledge with the fuel injections systems on a jeep could help out here.
It is a 95 wrangler with the 4 cylinder engine.  The jeep had been ...
