floor jacks11 Apr 2004 06:19 GMT10
Went to Harbor Freight (Sacramento) Saturday. The catalog lists a "long
frame" 2.5 ton floor jack w/max lift of 31" for $159.00. It was on sale @
harborfreight.com for $139.00 & it was on "in store" sale for
$99.00............I told them to dig out 2 of them for me then went to look

Rear Wiper Blade11 Apr 2004 03:09 GMT3
I am having trouble finding a replacment rear wiper for a liberty.  Size is

I have tried PeP Boys, Discount Auto, AutoZone, Wal-Mart, and many other
stores.
FARK!11 Apr 2004 01:05 GMT6
Well, despite what Banks claims, the exhaust header for the
93-98 Grand Cherokee doesn't friggin fit.
It hits the motor mount and doesn't even fit the intake
manifold unless you take a grinder to one or the other.
Rear window / snow11 Apr 2004 00:48 GMT5
Ok, I just got my Wrangler ('04) a few weeks ago.  Today we had the
first "real" snow since I got it.
Handles great.  But has anyone else had a problem with snow packing
down the back of the rear (soft top) window while driving?  I've also
Piston stamp 58 bore?11 Apr 2004 00:34 GMT3
I was talking to a guy regarding a 258 short block (he has two) and on top
of the pistons is the number 58 stamped into them on both blocks.
Would this be a .60 over bore or something different?
Thanks,

Steering question10 Apr 2004 23:20 GMT6
I think my power steering box/pump is about to die.  The box is leaking
fluid from the top where the steering shaft enters, and the jeep shakes
whenever I turn the wheel from a dead stop.  Also, the idle goes down a
couple hundred rpms whenever I turn the wheel from a dead stop.  ...
nail in my tire10 Apr 2004 18:55 GMT23
I know how important correct tire pressure can be for offroad situations.
Despite my best precautions my rotten luck held out and I ended up with a
four inch nail in my tire.  The nail is lodged all the way to the head which
has molded to the tire from driving.  It is lodged near ...

Taking a break10 Apr 2004 16:00 GMT4
Man oh man....
Got the supercharger off and wow are all the vacuum hoses
shot!  Most of the factory stuff has gone soft and the aftermarket
rubber has turned hard as rock.  Too bad things move or I'd simply
Note for you 93 ZJ owners with O2 sensor problems.10 Apr 2004 14:12 GMT2
I found a real nice suprise when doing the header.
The O2 harness runs up past the oil pan then gets held
to the block with a loose clamp.

Clutch Pedal Height10 Apr 2004 12:59 GMT10
The clutch pedal on my `04 TJ is about 1 1/2 inches higher than the
brake pedal.   On my YJ, the brake and clutch pedals are the same
height.  Is this a new 'feature', or does something need to be
adjusted on my TJ.
What should I look for when buying a used Jeep?10 Apr 2004 12:28 GMT19
I've got a budget of around $5500 to spend on a Jeep Wrangler, right
now I'm searching for models made between '91-'94 (ideally one with
ABS brakes but we'll see).  I'm fairly good with basic car mechanics
but I don't know much about jeeps, so I'm hoping I can get some advice
