Is there a Kit or 'Just' the Clutch MC for an 88 XJ?07 Apr 2004 20:44 GMT36
My clutch leak is the end of the MC leaking into and onto the fuse
panel.
It is an 88 and so far the aftermarket boys want to sell me the whole
kit with the MC, line and slave cylinder for $200.00 with tax.
looking for oppinions on axles07 Apr 2004 20:07 GMT2
I was talking to my friend last night and he told me that I should put in
floating axles in my D44  since I have to replace the axle that I broke.  It
is the rear axle that I broke.  Then he was mentioning about hubs and how if
I wanted to put locking hubs on the rear I can. That ...
turning engine over *slowly* to find TDC07 Apr 2004 19:28 GMT1
Hi.  I'm gonna be installing a distributor in my 304 in the near
future and will need to find TDC on #1 to do that.  I know how to find
TDC for #1 but I don't know how to turn the engine over nice and
slowly...  On my old VW I'd just turn the crank pulley by hand with

Is this legal for street use?07 Apr 2004 17:33 GMT6
I have a 2000 Jeep Wrangler licensed for the road.  I am installing an after
market rear tire carrier (OR-Fab) and I am thinking about leaving the third
brake light off.  Is this legal for street use?
Weber question07 Apr 2004 14:05 GMT8
I finally got around to installing the Weber, but I
don't have any paperwork on it - the original
setup (Carter) has a fuel supply line coming from the fuel
pump to a filter. The filter has two lines coming out
off-roading at the Cape07 Apr 2004 12:29 GMT1
Has anyone tried off-roading at the Cape's driving corridor? I've been
thinking about that for a couple of years, but haven't gotten into it yet.
Is it worth the $100 fee? http://www.nps.gov/caco/activities/oversand/

98 TJ header cracked07 Apr 2004 08:06 GMT15
Helped a bud yesterday get his 98 TJ 4.0 ready for the season.  He mentioned
he thought he had an exhaust leak, so I took a look.  Did he ever!  The
headers are cracked all the way around on one of the tubes right where the
final two go into one.  Is this a 'normal' occurrence?  ...

TJ tach inop when starting?07 Apr 2004 07:01 GMT3
Several times in the past couple days when startng my 98 TJ  the Tachometer
caution lite, Airbag lite and guages are not working.  Seems like a loose
connection since they generally do start working after a couple miles of
driving.  I had a Cherokee with the same problem a couple ...
31's on a stock 95 Sahara07 Apr 2004 06:12 GMT6
Newbie question.  I just got a 95 Sahara yj and need new rubber.
Eventually I will lift but I need rubber now.  Will 31's fit the stock
suspension for now or should I get 30's and upgrade when the lift comes.
Also any good tire deals out there right now?  Mainly on road with
Q on replacing headers07 Apr 2004 06:06 GMT1
I'm gonna replace the POS headers on the ZJ this
weekend and just wondered.  None of the books address
using new torque washers (the cone washer things) or
bolts.  Apart from the downtube bolts that is.
Qucik Tire Question07 Apr 2004 05:46 GMT2
I needed new summer tires for my Cherokee, after hearing so many good things
about them I decided to get a set of BFG AT. Since Sears was having a sale I
bought and had them mounted there. Everything seem fine until today (2 days
later) when noticed that they mounted them with the ...
2002 Liberty Stalling07 Apr 2004 05:16 GMT3
My 2002 Liberty is having chronic stalling problems. I've done some
reasearch on the 'net and saw that this is somewhat of a common problem. I
coud not, however, find any solutions to the problem.
I've had the vehicle into the dealership 3 times and they cannot seem to
Steelhorse "Targa" Style Top07 Apr 2004 05:02 GMT6
I have a Steelhorse Targa (Style) Top on a 2000 Sahara with the factory half
doors.
The problem is that the doors don't seal tight, making a ride on the highway
at 55-75 mph deafening.
