Differential case spreader?01 Apr 2004 13:41 GMT24
Is a differential case spreader (Miller W-129-b) absolutely
necessary for removing and reinstalling the carrier in a Dana
35c?  Or is it just a convenience?  Some early posts here seem to
suggest that it's possible to remove/install the carrier without
Wrangler Sound System Install?01 Apr 2004 12:07 GMT7
I'm thinking about upgrading my '01 Wrangler sound system to better
speakers and MP3 capable unit. Factory subwoofer in center console.
Any tips on removing the dash, installing the smaller deck or anything else
that might be important?
Update- unknown issues with cherokee01 Apr 2004 10:45 GMT1
OK, thanks to all who gave input. Did some more asking around and
reading and I'm going with the fuel filter and recheck tune-up stuff.
Question: I did just replace fuel filter with all the other tune-up type
stuff in December. At the same time I found that a particularly rotted
94 Gr Cherokee engine01 Apr 2004 07:49 GMT6
Is there anyone here that can point me to a good reputable person to
purchase a new engine for my 94 jeep, I just love the thing and can't
consider a new car.
It has 138k miles on it and she's blowing smoke from the exhaust.
Best "tough looking" tires for highway01 Apr 2004 05:23 GMT19
My 2002 Saharas factory tires are getting ready to be replaced soon, and I
want to get some "tougher" loking tires. I use this jeep as my primary
vehicle so It gets more highway time than tril time. Truth is that I dont

Failed emissions test01 Apr 2004 05:15 GMT9
1988 Jeep Cherokee 4.0
Failed the emissions test (grr). The NO PPM was at 1984, max. is 1126. Any
ideas what the problem might be? I changed the plugs, ran some "guaranteed
to pass" through it, cleaned the air filter, and did the test with the car
Which tire?01 Apr 2004 05:01 GMT27
Eyeing up two different tires for the jeep at this point. These are
primarily for on-road use with some occasional off-road/slippery use. The
rear two tires would be replaced, and the existing two tires would remain on
the front.
Radiator01 Apr 2004 02:58 GMT11
Well guys the Becool radiator will not fit my Jeep without some modifcation
so I have to ask all of you another question. So that is off and going back
to the factory.
I have been told that in 1988 they made a factory 3 core radiator for this
Building LEAK-FREE on-board air systems - HOW???01 Apr 2004 02:38 GMT18
I have a york system I've been using for about a year and half now. I
really like it, and it does GREAT at filling my tires. However, I've
always had one or two minor leaks in the system. I recently replumbed
some of the fittings to see if I could get rid of the leaks, but just

I-6 Diesel Engines? Any info?01 Apr 2004 01:43 GMT13
I notice some US army bases use diesel powered I-6 engines (or at least
used) in AMC vehicles designed for toting around aircraft. Any info on these
engines? Should I go out and buy one right away?
