A while ago I bought an '87 YJ with the intention of either running it in the winter and saving my '94 YJ from the salt, or building it into an offroad beast. I bought it in the summer of '01, and it... ran. It needs a new motor. The one in there now looks like spaghetti, has metal

Here's a cool one. Think of what a chick magnet (ok, 40 yr old chicks) it would be to pull up in, and get out wearing your spandex "Tron" suit. http://tinyurl.com/2zy4w I can't really say it's a waste of a good car, I have worked on and driven

| some useful? info on testing injectors | 23 Apr 2004 03:42 GMT | 4 |
Talked to the owner of a local shop today (Sooner Auto on AirDepot, Midwest City, OK). Good shop, I use them to fix my mom's 86 Merc. Especially when I'm up to my elbows in Jeep or just don't have the time/equipment.

| Quick question: 258I6/T-176 to 360V8 engine swap | 22 Apr 2004 12:23 GMT | 13 |
I have a '76 CJ-7 with a 258 I-6 and T-176/Dana 300 drivetrain. A Mopar Magnum 360 V8 should be a direct replacement for the 258, right? The motor mounts, transmission mounts, clutch/bellhousing, etc shouldn't need any modifications, right? So, I just pull the 258, install the 360 ...

Hello everyone. I am in the middle of trying to install the wiring for my 2000 TJ to hook up the hardtop, and I ran into a problem. I bought this from jeepsareus.com, but I haven't gotten a response from them yet. As I am working from the directions, I am looking near the 100-way ...

My daughter's 1993 YJ with 155,000 miles just crunched it's second AX-5 transmission. Is there a readily available, inexpensive, bolt-in replacement 5-speed that is not an AX-5 available? Or would we be better off to replace with an automatic? If so, what is the latest auto ...

| Need torque verification | 22 Apr 2004 04:29 GMT | 8 |
I have checked two books now and each book says that the big nut on the hub assembly for a 1988 Jeep Wrangler gets torqued to 175 foot pounds. Is this correct? Is there a crush sleeve inside this hub assembly that I do not know about. The reason I ask is that first I find it ...
