1986 CJ 4SALE20 May 2004 15:46 GMT9
Hey group if any of you are looking for a serious CJ7 take a look at this
one! He wants $8000 firm.  He is a friend of mine and it was his first ebay
sale and neglected to reserve it at $8000.  So like a buddy I bid it to
prevent premature sale.  Its awesome if anyone needs any ...
Rubber stuff for tailgate20 May 2004 15:14 GMT2
Hey, I have an extra CJ-7 tailgate but where do you get that rubber liner
thing for it?  And it has holes for the little nodule things that hold it
on.  Where do you get a liner with those things and are is it easy to
attach?
Trusting Dash 4WD and Part Time 4WD?20 May 2004 14:40 GMT4
I have a Cherokee XJ 4LTR LTD, 1994. Had it about a month. The lever
to move between different drives is very tough to move indeed. On
first occasion I got grinding sounds, so stopped the engine quickly
(was standing still).
98 Cherokee Classic oil pressure issues20 May 2004 13:27 GMT3
I have the 4.0 I6 with 56k miles. Engine burns or leaks no oil. At
start up and driving under acceleration oil pressure gauge reads 40.
When I come to a stop and at idle pressure drops to 10. Then back
under acceleration it jumps  to 40. Could this be a bad oil pump,
coupon for fuel injector cleaner.20 May 2004 05:56 GMT3
Just got back from the local Autozone and
Chevron Techron fuel system cleaner has a
2$ off (or free ballcap) mail in rebate.
That took it down to $4.44 after tax.
76 CJ7 gas filler hose20 May 2004 04:22 GMT11
Does anyone know why it is almost impossible to fgind a 76 CJ7 gas filler
hose? 70-75 no problem, 78-82 no problem. 76-77? seems to be non existant. I
did find one at JC Whitney though, but no where else. What is up with that?

Just got another Jeep, and have a dumb question20 May 2004 02:58 GMT3
The only dumb question is the question that remains un-asked, right? :)
Anyway, I'm the proud new owner of a 1996 Grand Cherokee (ZJ) Limited... my
question concerns the keyless entry remote.  The Jeep came with only one
remote, so I bought a 2nd one from eBay.  Now, I'm unable to ...
Using radiator transmission cooler for engine oil?20 May 2004 02:53 GMT3
A few weeks ago I replaced my TJ's factory radiator with a Radiator Barn
3-core radiator. The one they sent had an automatic trans cooler built into
the bottom tank. I have a manual trans in the TJ so I just plugged the
fittings.
Water Temp operation by itself.  How to configure20 May 2004 02:02 GMT10
I just installed new fuel and oil pressure gauges from Autometer.  Now my
temperature gauge doesn't work.
Can the temp gauge be run without connecting to the fuel gauge (there's a
crossover there which combines the two) and if so how is it configured?
Any more pebble-proof windshields than OEM for Wrangler?20 May 2004 00:55 GMT7
Time to change my windshield on my '00 Sahara.  It is cracked top-to-bottom
due to a rock flung up from road construction.  Before I shell out $300. +
for replace job... Is there any better or 'bulletproof' glass I can specify?
Thanks,
