| Like I needed another reason not to trust a dealership... | 18 May 2004 16:08 GMT | 29 |
A little off topic, my 97 Chevy Astro 2WD. Took the van in for front brakes... why not do it yourself you ask? Well, 60k ago it was in for warranty work and I also needed pads. Turns out the Delco pads have a lifetime warranty, cool. They called a few hours later

| High Idle on '88 Cherokee | 18 May 2004 08:34 GMT | 11 |
My '88 Cherokee has a problem with what feels like a stuck choke, except that its fuel injection. When I start it, the RPMs go to about 2000, then, instead of falling to something more reasable, they continue to rise to maybe 2500. After a few minutes, I can shut it off and it'll ...

| Leaking tire valve stem - replaceable w/o actually removing tire? | 17 May 2004 22:09 GMT | 7 |
I have a tire valve (on '94 YJ w/ stock & standard rims) that leaks at the stem base until I put a little lateral pressure on it (and the leak stays stopped if I shim it that way). My guess is given location at base of stem it's the stem, and not the valve itself.
