| 4x4 won't engage | 13 May 2004 17:40 GMT | 2 |
Hey. The 4x4 won't engage on my 88YJ. The transfer case seems to be engaging, and in 4-low the back wheels are in lo-range. Someone suggested it could be due to vacuum lines and that would make sense since I had most of them off last week when i was changing the valve cover ...

| OT:Funny | 13 May 2004 16:39 GMT | 19 |
I don't know how they wrote this with a straight face. This was a real memo sent out by a computer company (IBM) to its employees in all seriousness. It went to all field engineers about a computer peripheral problem. The author of this memo

| Will a TJ rear bumper fit a YJ? | 13 May 2004 11:19 GMT | 1 |
I've got a rear bumper on eBay - from my 01 TJ that I'm building. Got a message from a guy that asked if it would fit a YJ with a little modification. I told him I didn't know but anything's possible. Have any of you done this or know if it can be done within reason?

| headlights rewired | 13 May 2004 06:28 GMT | 3 |
Woohoo! Not only did eliminating the connector fix the headlights, but the marker lights that haven't worked in over 2 years are back now too. On the other hand, I've got 2 wires that came from the fuseblock side and do not continue past the connector???? Why?? All seems to be

| Rubicon Price Negotiation | 13 May 2004 02:46 GMT | 36 |
I ordered my Rubicon back in February; it has arrived. I'm very anxious. I go in tomorrow to settle on price. The msrp on mine is 28,600. I am in a relatively low volume area (deep south Texas), and I anticipate an exhausting haggle session or two.

| AMC 150 too rich | 12 May 2004 22:10 GMT | 6 |
I have a question concerning an '84 CJ with the AMC 150 4 cyl engine and one of those terrible Carter carburetors with a Nutter bypass performed. Keep in mind with this question that the catalytic converter needs to be replaced and another one is on order. Here's the present ...

| '79 CJ7 Proportioning Valve???? | 12 May 2004 21:42 GMT | 4 |
It looks like I may need a proportioning valve, but I can not find one anywhere. None of the aftermarket places, NAPA, 4wd.com, Quadratec.com have them listed. I then called the dealer and they can not look up anything that old. I know the same valve was used for a while, ...

| What paint colors for 81 CJ5? | 12 May 2004 19:04 GMT | 2 |
Does anyone know how I can find out what colors the 1981 CJ5 were. I know that mine origanally was a "denim blue" you know, ugly light blue. But I am planning to re-paint and would like to try and go with a different color. But an original color. I am thinking of a "burnt ...
